Second Harvest was engaged by KPMG as specialist transit signage consultants to assist with the evaluation of secondary revenue stream opportunities for the City of Tshwane Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. Second Harvest conducted a feasibility study by evaluating the relevant legislation in order to implement an outdoor advertising strategy.
Second Harvest identified the outdoor advertising opportunities available to the BRT system and generated a financial model that would allow project management to decide on the best implementation thereof. The Second Harvest outdoor advertising revenue projections were incorporated into the financial model for the BRT system prior to its operational implementation. The scope of work included:
